Why must God punish me this way?

Life brang us here. We have to choose one way or another. I wrote an assey once. When I was a child. Two different options was in there. Spirit against soul. The difference is not known by a lot of people. Maybe it's time to talk about that a litte bit. English is the language we hide behind it and say whatever we want these days in Türkiye. Still freely.

Yes we said spirit and soul. before i use them in English I mean two other words. psyche and pneuma. I use these word as opposite of the nefs and ruh.

Psyche = Soul = Nefs

pneuma = Spirit = Ruh

in the assey i argue about the Pneuma has a vizier which is conscience. the Psyche other hand try day and night to stop Pneuma. Because the Pneuma is the side of man who can create a connection with the divine one, God, Allah.

assey not spesificly use the word Allah however. Problem more ethical not teological. The assey argues how to stop evil. As a child answer was very basic. Stop doing bad things and start doing good ones. Practical but basic. But today i want to talk about the other side of this assey. The divine side. And a punishment. We need to approach these terms from a teological perspective.

Allah created the man! we know 3 things about the islamic side of this story.

1- Allah created him from earth.

2- Allah teach him all words.

3- Allah breathed into him from His spirit.

First two is part of another text. Let's take a closer look to the third one. Because there is a secret.

Every man holds a part from the god. Because He told it. And He told that too:

إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً

Wa-idh qaala Rabbuka lil-malaa’ikati innee jaa‘ilun fil-ardhi khaleefah 

And when your Lord said to the angels, I am going to place in the earth a khalifa

Suratul Baqarah (No. 2), Aayat 30

khalifa means representative, agent.

So a man's Spirist comes from directly from Allah. The Spirit. fountain of all beneficence. And against it but who? Psyche. Center of all desire. So here is the question. The title asked it already: Why must God punish me this way? Where Psyche comes from? Psyche is a punishment, isn't it? Let's discuss.

May Psyche = Soul = Nefs be. We need to look very carefuly into desire. Nefs is a place where desire live in it. It's a location, Nefs.

About Desire we need to look things. Every desire is to something. Even desire for Desire is for a thing which is desire.

First thing about nature of Desire is being temporal. Temporal comes from Lat. Tempus. If you fullfill a desire at one point in time It's nature force it to where it will be burn out.

When it burn out It starts at that point to grow again. Like smoke a cigarette. It burns out while you smoking it. When it goes to the ash tray the desire to a new cigarette starts in you, in your Psyche, in your Nefs.

Second thing about the nature of Desire is permanency. Even hardcore melamies even couldn't achieve to kill their desire. It's impossible so permanent. Desire is every where. Even desire for finish all this desire circus death is a desire at some point. Desire to not have any desire is a desire. This point turns us to the title: Why must God punish me this way?

Basicly I'm aware of the two option. Feel desire for good and bad. This perspective can not show us a good lighted road. Because good is there and bad as well. In general we don't choose our desires. We frequently slave to desires. Why must God punish me this way?

On the other hand i have a few words about about Pneuma = Spirit = Ruh

We said it's about a connection with Allah. So we need to exemine the Ruh which is blown in by Allah.

What Allah's Spirit contains? We have already discussed it on our other article: Let's dream a god!

Of course number one is justice. It's so deep inside us. Nobody can ever find it. We can talk on things we can more talk.

Being good, being inside goodness. Allah is good. Spirit is part of Allah. So Spirit is good.

For the connection with the divine a thing has to be pure. So spirit has purity. Turn back and look inside you. Did you find anyting pure it this hell-world? Actually I found one thing: Pure sordidness.

Last couple of words. There is a punishment. That's true. The punishment is we are as man have to fight for all our life time to find the true deed. at lest man who has brain. Allah choose create a creature like us. Full of desire which have to control it for his entire life.

Listen Pneuma closely. Maybe one day we become her. One day she will share her secret with us. When you hear that secret Pneuma and Psyche become one. Why must God punish me this way?
